Minus deset anarcho-komunistických minut

Projekt Minus deset anarcho-komunistických minut je existenciální anketa s otevřeným koncem distribuovaná formou trhacího kalendáře na vybraných veřejných místech města (supermarket, úřad, kostel). Anketní otázky vycházejí z tázání se po tzv. nulovém bodu přemýšlení o vztazích a bytí na tomto světě a obrazně tak směřují k uvědomění si mentálních pochodů odehrávajících se v naší hlavě prvních deset minut po nabytí vědomí bez znalosti kontextu či předešlého společenského kontaktu.

Zbyněk Baladrán

Zbyněk Baladrán po studiu dějin umění na FF UK v Praze (1992-1997) absolvoval AVU v Praze, Ateliér vizuální komunikace Jiřího Davida, Ateliér malířství II Vladimíra Skrepla a Ateliér nových médií II Veroniky Bromové (1997-2003). Ve svých dílech (instalacích, objektech, videu, krátkých filmech stříhaných z archivních materiálů, pracích s texty) se zabývá zkoumáním mechanismů naší paměti, vizuální historie a hledáním souvislostí mezi minulostí a jejími současnými výklady. Baladrán je jedním ze spoluzakladatelů a kurátorů pražského prostoru pro současné umění display (2001), od roku 2007 fungujícího na společné bázi s projektem transit v rámci tranzitdisplay. Spolu s Vítem Havránkem byl spolukurátorem projektu a výstavy Monument Transformace 1989-2009, zabývající se sociální a politickou transformací v umění a společnosti v porevolučním období. Byl také členem týmu kurátorů tranzit.org pro Manifestu 8 v roce 2010 (Murcia, Španělsko). Jako autor či kurátor přispívá Zbyněk Baladrán k neustálé redefinici smyslu umění v současnosti. V letech 2004, 2005, 2007, 2008 byl finalista Ceny Jindřicha Chalupeckého.
Minus Ten Anarcho-Communist Minutes
The Minus Ten Anarcho-Communist Minutes project is an existential open-ended survey distributed in the form of a tear-off calendar at selected public places in the city (supermarket, office, church). The survey questions are based on an inquiry about the “zero point” of thinking about relationships and being in this world, and they are figuratively directed towards realizing the mental processes taking place in our mind during the first ten minutes after regaining consciousness, without knowledge of the context or previous social contact.
Zbyněk Baladrán

Having completed history studies at the Faculty of Arts, Charles University in Prague (1992–1997), Zbyněk Baladrán graduated from Jiří David’s Visual Communication Studio, Vladimír Skrepl’s Painting Studio II and Veronika Bromová’s New Media Studio II (1997–2003) at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague. In his works (installations, objects, videos, short films composed of archive materials, work with texts), he explores the mechanisms of our memory and visual history, searching for the connections between the past and its current interpretations. Baladrán is one of the co-founders and curators of the Display project, Prague’s space for contemporary art (2001), operated on a joint basis with the Tranzit project as Tranzitdisplay since 2007. Together with Vít Havránek, he was a co-curator of the Monument Transformace 1989–2009 project and exhibition, dealing with social and political transformation in art and society in the post-revolution period. He was also a member of the tranzit.org curator team for Manifesta 8 in 2010 (Murcia, Spain). As an author and a curator, Zbyněk Baladrán contributes to the constant redefinition of the meaning of art in the present day. In 2004, 2005, 2007 and 2008, he was a finalist of the Jindřich Chalupecký Award.
